1. About these terms

The website ravniks.com (the “Site”) and the RAVNIKS online store are operated by HK SHANJING TECHNOLOGY LIMITED, a company registered in Hong Kong (“RAVNIKS”, “we”, “us” or “our”). Our registered address is Flat/Rm 1911, Lee Garden One, 33 Hysan Avenue, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong, and you can reach us at support@ravniks.com.

These Terms of Service apply when you use the Site or buy from us. By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and Shipping Policy, which form part of these terms.

2. Who can buy

To place an order you must be at least the age of majority where you live, or have the permission of a parent or guardian. You agree to give accurate and complete information when you check out.

3. Products and prices

We try to describe and show our products accurately. Colours, including the colour of the fretboard lights, can look different depending on your screen. Product features shown in interactive demos on the Site are illustrations of how the product works.

Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout and may change at any time. If a product is listed at an incorrect price because of an error, we may cancel the order and refund any amount you have paid.

4. Orders and payment

Your order is an offer to buy. We may accept or decline it — for example, if a product is out of stock, if we suspect fraud, or if there is an error in the listing. If we cancel an order after payment, we refund you in full.

Payment is taken at checkout through our payment providers. Taxes, shipping costs and any import duties that apply are shown at checkout or explained in our Shipping Policy.

5. Shipping, returns and refunds

Delivery times, shipping costs and destinations are set out in our Shipping Policy. Returns, exchanges and refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.

6. Warranty

RAVNIKS products come with the warranty described in the product information and the documentation supplied with the product. The warranty is in addition to, and does not limit, any rights you have under the consumer law of the country where you live.

7. Using your instrument

Use the R-01 and its accessories as described in the documentation supplied with them. Keep the volume of the built-in speaker and headphones at a comfortable level to protect your hearing.

8. Companion app and firmware

Some features of the R-01, such as the learning modes and light-show controls, are provided through a companion app and the guitar’s firmware. The app and firmware may be provided under separate terms that you accept when you download or install them, and we may update them to fix problems or add features.

9. The Site and its content

All content on the Site — including text, images, video, the RAVNIKS name and logo, product designs and software — belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. You may use the Site for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, sell or reuse its content without our written permission.

The play-along songs on the Site are public-domain compositions; the arrangements and recordings generated by the Site are ours.

You agree not to misuse the Site — for example, by attempting to break its security, interfering with its operation, or using it for any unlawful purpose.

10. Links to other sites

The Site may link to sites and services run by others. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Site is provided “as is”, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, arising from your use of the Site or our products. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and the courts of Hong Kong have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and may bring proceedings there.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one shown on the Site when you placed it.
